LIVING HISTORY
Discover History can offer:
We can offer visitors to your event an interactive and hands-on living history experience. We can dress period rooms, provide an outdoor living history area complete with a dressed tent, or can simply offer strolling characters that once roamed the grounds of your location.
We can tailor make sessions to your individual needs, and by providing us with some background information of your particular theme, we tailor the experience to include specific characters and incidents from your locations past!
Discover History can provide:
Rich or poor, military or civilian, crime and punishment or medical, spooky or even festive, we cover it all! We can offer 1st or 3rd person interpretation, timed performances, story telling or simply on-going living history. We are happy to travel and provide events lasting for as many days as you require.
History of Food, Drink and Cooking
Helen has a passion for food and drink and likes nothing better than experimenting with historical recipes and sharing the joy with other people. Helen (and Paul) can attend your event and demonstrate live cooking on an open fire or create and add the finishing touches to recipes inside a building. With all the pots, pans and gadgets for all periods in history, we can demonstrate the love of food and drink on both sides of the social spectrum.
Helen is covered by a Food Hygiene Certificate so should you like, visitors can sample the foods on offer. All foods produced come with a printed recipe sheet so visitors can see the ingredients included as well as take photos of the recipe to try for themselves at home.
